Job Description

The environmental unit in Höör is looking for a positive and service-oriented environmental inspector specializing in environmental protection, particularly in the supervision of individual sewage systems. As an environmental inspector, you will work with supervision and assessment according to environmental regulations and provisions in environmental and health protection. Your tasks will involve handling incoming cases, planning and conducting inspection visits, and formulating decisions, letters, and service statements.

You will have many contacts with both private individuals and sewage contractors, so it is important that you can communicate clearly and objectively. A large part of our work involves providing advice to help property owners and contractors meet legal requirements and contribute to a better environment for future generations.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who has completed environmental and health protection training or equivalent education and preferably has experience in official duties. Experience as an environmental inspector is a merit, as well as experience in supervising environmentally hazardous activities, sewage systems, and nature and water protection.

You enjoy working with people and consider good interaction important. You express yourself well in Swedish, both verbally and in writing. You are used to working both independently and in teams. You are proactive and have a good ability to plan and prioritize your work. We will place great emphasis on your personal qualities.

We expect you to have good computer skills and a B driver's license. We use the case management system EDP Vision.
